Bye-Bye 2013

"The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything."

Hey readers! J

Since we are biding adieu to 2013, I just thought of sharing some sweet ‘n’ sour lessons I learnt this year. The above mentioned quote is one of the most important of them. Despite of the hormonal changes one goes through in this transitional phase of life, I realised that one’s mood swings are actually controlled by their own selves. It is your wish to be either happy or sad.  It is your decision to either treat your life like a labyrinth or live with a straight sorted head. For me, life is a lot like jazz, its best when you improvise. It’s best when you truly introspect and tell yourself that YES, I will be the change, a change for better.

I have always been a very pampered and beloved child. My ears have never heard a NO by my parents. But this year, something strange happened. I asked my parents for attending an MUN conference which was supposed to take place in Delhi. And guess what? They said no. The emotional burst out was next. I kind of took it on my ego because that was something I was not habitual to. I tried every possible thing on this earth to convince them. But his time things were certainly not in my favour. I cried for days. My parents didn’t agree. May be after 5 days of crying and shouting and making my home nearly a mental asylum, I calmed down. Following my regular habit of keeping the world aside for a minute and moving to some deep thinking, I understood that you can’t always get everything. I just remembered people who are less fortunate than me in some or the other manner yet the happiest on this globe. I perceived that some point in time I will have to develop this attribute in me. The attribute to have patience and the attribute to find joy even in things as small as a mustard seed. I should stop being demanding and rather thank the almighty for the bliss he has provided me with so far. For all those times when he has helped me recover from pains of break ups and disassociations. Forgiveness and thanksgiving, I shall imbibe in me. That day, I registered a point in my mind- Each day is a new life. Seize it. Live it.

Therefore, I welcome 2014 on an extremely merry and positive note.

Why 'Entangled Life'?

Hello You! J

This is one more teen blog in the stack of all those existing on the net. But wait, 'Entangled life- a peek into the heart' will definitely stand apart. Why? Isn't the name enough to answer that? Haha. Just kidding. Well, Entangled Life is an initiative of two girls who are like cheese and chalk yet so close to each other. Author Shu is sensitive yet bold whereas Author Div is confident outside and very emotional inside. This blog will be like an emotion mashup- happiness, anger, anguish, calmness, sadness, bitterness, sweetness and this and that. Author Shu in the first post has already spoken a lot about the idea behind this blog. So, now, I shall be writing a bit on why this name? Without any doubt, we all know that the life of a teenager is all jumbled and muddled. Hence, the word entangled life. Now, talking about the tagline, well both of us are deeply passionate and intense souls. Our hearts are crystal clear. Thereby, whatever will be posted here will be absolutely true and directly from our hearts. Here, you will find anything and everything. From politics to daily soaps, from deep and passionate love to intense hatred for a few people and sections of society, from daily experiences of life to our insanely crazy wish list.

Welcome aboard, readers!

Enjoy this voyage of reading and blogging.

Loads of love,
Shu- 'Div' :)
