The theme of this article shall be something which is better felt than described in words. As kids, we never knew that such a bond would influx in our lives but as we grew this emotion just took over us. It is an association of hearts. An alliance of diverse yet similar thoughts. A mix of madness and sanity.
What is it if not FRIENDSHIP?
Yes, friendship is what I plan to hit upon today. And that too, in regard to someone really special. Apologies, but this post might be deep within from heart for my friend Shreya. For, she has always been a pillar of support and a radiant star in my life. Also, she is someone who has been with me against all odds. No matter how many uncertainties our relationship faced, she was right beside me. This girl is not my best friend but like a sister. We fight terribly. We shake with laughter. We do insane stuff. We click pretty pictures from webcam. We hang around on scooty like boys. We shout, we hit each other. We dance and sing in public. We share. We talk, talk and talk. We make instant plans. We work together sometimes. We chat-be it messaging or video calling. We exchange ideas. We respect each other’s opinions. We understand. There is no end to such WE’s.
I would like to tag our friendship as an UNDISCOVERED CONNECTION OF HEARTS. Talking particularly about me, I never realised in all these years as to how and when I got so close to this pessimistic, lovely, and true at heart, caring, trustworthy and an emotional person. We are like chalk and cheese. But I guess, it is primarily because of the fact that she is probably the only person who respects my bullshit to the best. She understands that I am a kid at heart. She is an altogether different personality as compared to kids of my age and I love that. I love the fact that she makes me feel so homely and so real. There are no bubbles of fake attitude around. She is also my extrinsic motivating supplement. To be honest, it is sheer bliss to have her around.
It is very funny as to how we look into each other’s eyes and just burst into laughter. We look at people and the way we exchange smiles; it's absolutely ridiculous. It's only her with whom I can cross roads running. Only her with whom I can afford to drop things while seated back on the scooty. Only her with whom I can share without the fear of being judged. Only her who understands my sign language. For me, we are a mini gang. A gang where emotions are a like a fruit cream and joy as that cherry on top. Pineapple like tangy attitude, grapes like sweet and pungent life, banana like simple heart (a non-veg mind too) and apple like healthy bonding.
Cheers to 6 years of togetherness.
Lots of love
